Trot on Club is an exciting, fun, educational, enriching online experience where children can learn through play how to care for a pony using systematic weekly learning topics, multi- choice questions, interactive games, video clips. quizzes, interactive Chat and Competitions all re-enforcing schoolwork, Key Stages 1 and 2 Literacy, Numeracy, Science and ICT skills. TOC online is up-dated weekly, full of fun and games where children can interact with like minded friends. TOC is a truly “Clip Cloppin” experience for every…..Pony Mad Child.

Who is Trot on Club for?

The content of Trot on Club is designed for children.

What inspired you to create Trot on Club?

As parents of Pony Mad Kids and also equestrian professionals we wanted a safe, fun, educational online community which would encourage children to learn about ponies, at the same time re-enforce their school learning and feel comfortable whilst enjoying themselves.

The idea of Trot on Club was born out of horsey and non-horsey parents wanting their children to learn to be safe around ponies. We totally agree. Children should learn about ponies before handling them, what they are and how to care for them, making a childs’ first experience a pleasurable one and ensuring a better quality of life and welfare for ponies in the future.

As parents and equestrian professionals, we will not tolerate any individual/s undermining the safety and pleasure of our users who are children. Anyone who is reported to us or who we feel that their behaviour on trotonclub.com is inappropriate will be banned immediately.

Trot on Club Membership Costs#

Any child can enjoy trotonclub.com free of charge, however only paying members will have privillages such as My Pony Yard, Pony and Pony Pal, buying Items using virtual Pony Pennies, Messaging and much more.

TOC membership costs £3.95 per month. Membership can be purchased online using PayPal. A part of trotonclub.com subscription is used to sponsor the British Horse Society Equitation Competition and as donations to equestrian charities.

Personal Safety Online

To help protect your children online, may we suggest a number of precautions they can take to stay safe while on the Internet.

Never give out personal information, such as your real name (first name or surname), age, location, phone number, school, or personal information of any of your friends.

Tell your parents/guardians if someone says or does something on the Internet that makes you feel uncomfortable, or if someone asks you for personal information.

Never give out your password, except only to your parents/guardians. If someone else gets your password they might pretend to be you and give out your personal information or do or say something that may get you into trouble.

Choose a username which does not reflect your identity in any way. Avoid names that are in anyway suggestive, even if they seem innocent to you. Ask your parent/guardian to help you choose a username if you are unsure.

Avoid chat rooms that are not monitored by Supervisors.

Always follow your parents/guardians rules for using and playing on the Internet. If you think anything is suspicious report it immediately.

Trot on Club only collects information from Parents or Guardians of their users. No person under the age of 18 years is ever asked for personal information. All correspondence, competition prizes or goods purchased are directed only to the users’ parent/guardian. We only use your personal or contact details to allow us to offer you the service you require. We do not sell any of our contact information to third parties. We have a strict Privacy Policy.

Chat Safely

Our Chat allows users to type their own messages to other users. Every message that is typed first goes through a sophisticated filter; however comments which could be offensive to some members may occasionally get through. In order to limit that and further protect the security of chat participants, Supervisors monitor what’s going on and receive member reports of misconduct. An “S” icon on the upper right-hand side of the screen denotes a Supervisor is available to help. Members who engage in inappropriate behavior will be banned.

Childrens’ Health, Learning and Enjoyment

Trot on Club is a great place for Pony Mad Kids to learn about ponies through play, re-enforcing Key Stages 1 and 2 Literacy, Numeracy, Science and ICT skills and have fun online and we are happy to provide this safe knowledgeable environment. Trot on Club is not intended to replace the joy of owning or being around real ponies, it is simply a tool of education. We encourage children to be healthy, active, patient, kind, fair and consistent, essential qualities in life and especially around ponies.

Trot on Club is proud to Sponsor the British Horse Society Equitation Competition held throughout the UK, designed for children up to 13 years and under 17 yrs old, who do not own their own pony but enjoy competing.
